James O. Bower, Jr.

Agent Jim Bower, Jr. has been in the insurance business for more than 25 years. He began at age 18, working as an agent throughout his college years. As Jim’s business grew and while he and his wife raised their family, he advanced into sales management.

Today, as agency principal, Jim heads up a successful agency that finds its reward through dedicated service to churches and other ministry organizations. Besides his role as a church insurance expert, Jim also views his role as a coach and mentor for his agency staff, to whom he is quick to give credit as the prime source of the agency’s success.

Jim and his wife Karen have five children and two grandchildren. They are active in their children’s youth programs and the Christian school that several of their children attend. Jim is an outdoorsman at heart and loves to hunt and fish.

Clay Lindner

Agent Clay Lindner began his insurance career as an automobile insurance claims intern for two years while still at Liberty University. Clay earned a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the university in 2009. He minored in government. Clay became a full-time insurance agent in 2010.

Clay enjoys politics, coaching volleyball and tennis, as well as ministry work. He has been a prayer leader and a ministry team member with Light Ministries and has traveled to East Asia on a short-term mission trip with the ministry. Clay is originally from Delaware and has served as assistant to the Delaware Speaker of the House for three summers. He and his wife Kristi live in Syracuse, New York.

Louis Shakkour

Agent Louis Shakkour began his insurance career when he joined American Church Group of New York in 2010. Louis is a 2009 business marketing graduate of Liberty University. He minored in enterprise data analysis.

Louis was born and raised in Jerusalem and is an Arab Israeli Christian. He is a gifted athlete and has worked in ministry, coaching basketball in the Czech Republic for two summers and, through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, leading sports mission trips to Israel during his college years.

Fluent in three languages, Louis interprets sermons from English to Arabic at a church plant ministering to Arab refugees in Buffalo. He also co-leads a basketball ministry for adults and works with youth in Getzville, New York, where he makes his home.

Brandon Bower

Agent Brandon Bower is an employee of James O. Bower Insurance, Inc., and he also represents American Church Group of New York. He began his career in the insurance business after earning his business marketing degree from Liberty University in 2006. During his first year in the business, Brandon was honored as the top rookie agent by Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company, one of the nation’s leading church insurers. His expertise in church insurance has grown each year since.

Like his dad, Jim Bower, Jr., Brandon enjoys outdoor activities. Besides hunting and fishing, he lists road biking as one of the top three activities he most likes. Brandon has a heart for sports ministry outreach and is looking forward to being involved an overseas mission trip in the future. Brandon and his wife Stefani live near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
